In 1994, Devanand Mangar, M.D. organized a private practice group of anesthesiologists in the Tampa, Florida area. The program was based at Tampa General Hospital and provided anesthesia services to the Cardiovascular OR's. Tampa General Hospital is the only Level 1 Trauma Hospital in west central Florida and is one of the largest employers of the City of Tampa.
